It’s long been known that personal appearance has a powerful effect on an individual’s sense of dignity and self-respect. Just because a person is suffering from dementia, it doesn’t mean that they no longer care about the way they look.
Our hairdresser visits weekly to cut both ladies and men’s hair. Services available include, cuts, shampoo and set, blow dry, perms and colours, in our specially appointed hairdressing area.
What We can Help With
Laundry
We have a separate laundry that provides a full laundry service for the home. Our laundry team cleans and irons resident’s clothes and returns them to their room.
Hairdresser
Our specially trained professional hairdresser visits the care home each week to cut, style, shampoo, clour or perm residents’ hair as and when they wish.
Personal Care
Working to your regular routines, a fully trained carer or support worker offers discreet and professional personal care in the way that’s most comfortable to you.
