Promoting the Wellbeing of Residents.
Helping residents maintain a stimulating, active and independent life.
We encourage residents to take part in any activities that are of interest to them. Therapeutic activities take into account the Residents’ interests, skills, experiences, personalities and mental conditions. This may be a one-to-one or a group decision.
We provide a variety of entertainment and creative activities such as games, art classes and singing for those who would like to take part. We are always open to new ideas or requests from residents. Residents can also choose from a selection of films to watch at their convenience.
The sensory garden has 3 raised beds for residents to walk around and enjoy the sense of touching and smelling a variety of herbs together with the pleasure of the unique scent of lavender and the sight of the of different colours of a variety of flowers.

From daily games & activities to events & parties.
Our Entertainment Manager organises daily activities to keep residents busy and active.
Daily activities include group activities such as armchair exercise to music, quizzes, sing-a-longs, bingo, indoor skittles, board games, cards, reminiscence and music to movement classes.
For many, the activities are centred more about maintaining the activities of normal life – doing crosswords or puzzles, listening to music or the radio, watching films and TV, doing some gardening or reading.
We are regularly visited by outside entertainers and hold monthly concerts, and hold parties to celebrate notable dates and events.
We consult with Residents on any changes in activities and consult with them on an ad hoc basis on all general matters within the home. It is paramount that everyone should have a voice and be able to give their opinions.
We thrive on building a healthy community for all individuals.
Excellent relationships with local GPs & health services.
Medical advice is always close by and easy to find.
Any of our local GPs would be pleased to answer any relevant questions about the home.
We have details and access to a number of local specialists and should any resident need any other assistance or service we are happy to organise it.
